Yes, I was pregnant and one agency made me come in from Jersey to register saying the project would start the next day - and for two weeks after that they called/e-mailed me everyday to say it would start the next day. It was horrible. I lost other projects in between. Finally I contacted the law firm directly and they said the project would not start for another several weeks - and they said the agency knew that and they did not know why they were keeping me hanging on on a daily basis. The agency had no mercy for me.
I know these things happen and projects get delayed but agencies should be straight with everyone - and most of all with people in special circumstances. It's a miracle my baby came out normal. I feel sorry for the lady who wrote in - and it must be tough - but if she is a recruiter I hope she is a little more merciful to other mothers.
