A van with "Georgetown Admissions" painted on the side was apparently last seen riding around McPherson Square canvassing for homeless.
"We haven't had a continuation of the awful people you can meet on projects recently, so I figure I'd send this gem along. I finished a project about 2 weeks ago and I had overheard a story about one of the coders not more than a few feet from me. Apparently this gentlemen came in one day with shit on his pants and his shoes. When he realized the awful stench of feces was coming from his person, he went right on and continued coding as if nothing was wrong. He eventually "tried" to go clean himself up (after he was coaxed and almost mocked into doing so, even by the project manager), but for the rest of the day he stayed soiled. Can you believe that some people wouldn't even have the decency to go buy another pair of pants or, God forbid, go home for the day so as to not subject others to his lack of cleanliness?"

This story proves that a law degree from Georgetown is so versatile and portable that it literally prepares and dresses you for shitlaw.
Pics or it never happened.
Hilarious! Who knew that metaphorical shitlaw has become literal shitlaw....
"Shitlaw...soiling the sheets! I wanna dump and flush you!"
He's probably homeless. Poor guy.
Georgetown is a TTT, and all law is quickly becoming shitlaw. Get out while you still have your sanity!
Lol! He's just a nasty Mother #@%^&*!
That document reviewer is in some deep shit. It sounds like he doesn't have his shit together. The shit will probably soon hit the fan. He is going to be shit out of luck. Maybe he is coding and doing some shit. However, I don't give a shit what he is doing. The guy is full of shit.
Ok, how are you guys getting these gigs anyway? I'm fully registered at 4-5 places and I register to a bunch more but I never get any gigs!
Where are you finding these and how are you getting onto the projects? Do you just call the agencies non-stop and apply to every agency on yellowbook or something?
Come on, I want in to your world of document review!
You want your doc review? Come to Raji's DriveThru LPO! Located in Hyderabad, India Raji's offers the finest LPO services including doc review, at fast food prices!
Sorry, you cannot work there as a foreigner, American moron. But we will take your law firm work, thank you very much!
Raji's DriveThru LPO, soon to open a franchise in Bangalore!
I thought that was typical lawyer behavior.
I feel bad for this poor bastard.
You want in on doc review? I suggest you paint yourself brown, buy a plane ticket to Mumbai, and change your last name to Shah, Singh, or Patel. There's plenty of first level document review going on over there.
That's what I thought, yet you've got people posting comments on how everybody is working and the economy is back. I figured that was total bullshit.
The only major project that looked like it was hiring is that crappy Boies Schiller $40k in Albany one a month or so ago. Now that post was comedy.
The real culprit for the sad state of the legal profession is not outsourcing companies in India or the Phillippines.
Look no further than greedy American law firm partners who are determined to maintain their financial draw even if that means laying off paralegals, secretaries, associates and other partners. These greed driven people are destroying the legal profession, cannabalizing young lawyers all for short-term profit.
Typically (in NYC) a law firm will bill their corporate client roughly $150 per hour of temp attorney work. The firm keeps close to $100 per hour and the placement agency takes $50/hour from which it pages the contract attorney $30 - 40/hour.
Those document reviews that had started going offshore three years ago, have slowed down as the same greedy US firms are demanding even lower rates from outsourcing firms.
It is seemingly a race to the bottom.
There was a female doc reviewer in DC a few year back who was having her period all over the chair and stinking up the joint. She would not leave either until she was forced to go home because of the horrific odor.
