Will any of the delusional BLS lemmings who just know that they are getting biglaw when they graduate even bother to attend such a nightmare event? Will it occur to annnnnnnyy one to ask the question: "hey, what is doc review and why should we need them to come here because we are going to be lawyers?" Or "why are they coming here? Are we not all getting biglaw?".

And, do you think for a moment that the lemmings will have a clue what questions to ask Update? Unless perhaps they read this site and Tom The Temp. Questions like: "I heard that you often do a bait and switch on the material terms and pay of a project...Is this true? "Is it true that you will prey upon our desperation after we graduate and we realize that there are NO jobs for most of the grads from this so-called fine institution?" "Is it true that if we tell one of your phone solicitors that we, indeed, do have a doctor's appointment within the next 6 months we will not get hired for a project?".

It will be a total sham.

This dirty little secret is finally getting exposed. I wonder how long they have been doing it,to help pad their so called employment stats.

It must be part of BLS graduation, you cannot get your degree unless you register with Update.

And they pretend they don't know how many BLS grads are working as temps in law firms...they are actively promoting it.

Joan King wants the whole class to go off and work for Update Legal so she claim that all of her graduates are working in biglaw and making over 100K a year. She then can bump up tuition another 10K a year.

You have to realize a few things about agencies. Most of them like Hudson and Update have a bunch of middle class gals who want to look pretty, pop off a few kids and find a dude to take care of them -- hey, maybe even from the pool of guys they interview! Barring a few older sophisticated lawyers in this game, most of these gals really don't know much and are certainly not half as qualified as the people who register with them. I have two Ivy League degrees, worked in finance for many years and then decided to take time off to take care of the kids, and temp. Once I get to actual employer we get along fabulously and I am hired for long periods of time. But the problem with me most of the time is that most agency gals will just not send in my resume because I don't kiss their ass. I am educated, attractive and assertive and I guess they are just more comfortable with fat, lumpy under-educated gals who are easier to bully. I have worked with so many losers who get placed more frequently than me because they kiss ass and tell the gals jokes and attend their lame X-mas parties. That's just the way it is -- now I try to have a few drinks before I go in to meet these losers and so that their dumbass doesn't get to me. And yes, Update blacklists you for everything. They are really just looking for an excuse so they can place on of those fat saddlebag gals on the case.
