Anita Needs More State Subsidized Grist For Her Temp Mill

So much so that Lloyd Constantine (the founder of Anita's firm) is publishing editorials defending the utilization of taxpayer money to seed the creation of three new public and private law schools.

Honestly, I'm all for the SUNY public law school.

It's undeniable that there are already more law schools and graduates than the market can employ. There's no demand or need for more lawyers.

But there is a incredible demand and need for cheaper public law schools. In-state tuition at Buffalo law school is $13,000. You can pay for tuition, room and board without a single private loan!! And without the $90,000 dollars in additional debt you incur at New York Law School you have a LOT more flexibility at the beginning of your career.

With the state and city budgets hemmorraging, it's unconscionable to even be discussing the addition of the 15th and 16th (or so) law schools in the state of NY. There is no need for the public to subsidize the dumping of hundreds of additional lawyers onto an already glutted and collapsed market.

If they could gurarantee that Hofstttra, BLS, Carbozo and NYLS would be shut down, it might make sense, to exchange the expensive diploman mills for the public ones. But we all know that is not going to happen.

Finally, he mentions Anita! Now maybe Roach Boy(s) and Roach Girl can settle their differences and retire from this blog.

Anyone notice that this guy who writes so passionately in favor of more educational institutions thinks Gandhi was a great SOUTH AFRICAN? LOL

Anonymous said...

No, to be fair he never called Gandhi a great South African. Gandhi did live and work in South Africa as an attorney for several years, and he did win civil rights for South Africa's Indian immigrant population before moving back to India to fight for home rule there.

Anonymous said...

Okay, thanks for the correction. I believe it is important to be accurate no matter what I think personally of the other side so as not to reduce my credibility. Just out of curiosity though, wouldn't it have made more sense to mention Gandhi's work in regards to India as opposed to South Africa? Or am I still missing something?

TTTouro doesn't need to be replaced and bolstered with taxpayer money. It needs to be shuttered and bulldozed.

Isn't Constantine advisory services or whatever it is called essentially a temp agency. Wouldn't the guy that wrote this article be directly benefiting financially from the opening of more law schools? He could pay less in wages, and pocket the difference.

What a moron. In what way do law grads possess ANY critical thinking skills? Law is an unintellectual, dry, boring, pointless, vapid paper-churning waste of time. Lawyers are total and utter morons who were too stupid to make it in hard science or enginnering schools/med school.

Thanks for not mentioning my article, bitch. I'm the boss, what I say goes.

I dare you to address my article.

They did something similar in Florida. They had seven lawschools. Did they need another? Hell, no! But, there was low minority enrollment. Did they put money into minority scholarships, no. Did they fund two new lawschools, yes! Are the minority students up in the new schools, not really. You govt tax dollars and brilliance at work. Cheers

"Lloyd Constantine managed higher education policy for former Gov. Eliot Spitzer. He currently is a candidate for SUNY chancellor."

Oh, he's running for SUNY Chancellor that's why he's invoking Ghandi in his support of using taxpayer funds to create a useless new law school under his dominion.

Maybe they'll call it the "Lloyd
Constantine" or "Elliot Spitzer" school of law.

To say NY needs new lawyers (because half of lawyers don't practice) is yet another misstatement of fact. New York has never exported lawyers in the fashion he asserts.

No, NY and NYC are magnets for lawyers seeking high paying jobs. There is a lawyer for 125 people in NY. No Lloyd, we don't need another law school, we need fewer law schools and more good jobs for those who have already graduated. Not to mention better effort and honest statistics from law school career services departments.

T the T!!! You mentioned Anita!!! Ahhhhh, it's just like the good old days.

It seems every thread almost invariably involves some racist blaming people of color for their woes. No matter what the discussion involves. The industry is spliting like the rest of America into the have and have-nots. "Well, it's the niggers fault." There are too many lawyers. "Well it's the niggers fault." Law firms seem to limit minority attorneys to people of color and women attorneys (implicitly if you look at the numbers of actual hires you will see that most are white). But, the white temp attorney will argue "it's the niggers fault." You don't have say the 'n' word, but its sure as hell how you act.

Those making these 'observations sound like online recruiters for extreme racists groups that populate the internet.

You would be much further long as a "white man, but-for those people of color, women etc. But for them you would be living large."

Ironically, we represent a small portion of both the legal profession and the population at large.

Look up the numbers if you don't believe me. Your failures are the result of the economic squeeze on the middle class in general brought on by 30 years of conservative right wing policies that say only the fit survive, poor planning on your part (no one told you to choose this profession), the legal industry itself (status is everything and not enough legal work to justify it) and based on the response "it's the niggers fault" I am guessing your predicament is also a reflection of your personality.

who's talking about niggers? Racist SOB.

Learn to read. I put the "n" word in quotes to make a point about some of the responders both here and on other legal blog sites. Learn to read. I wasn't using the word as if I am using it against other black people such as myself. What I was doing was to put out the thought process that goes into bringing up "well it's the people of color fault that things are so bad" everytime economic issues are discussed like the supply of lawyers. In essense, what people who are using black people or people of color as their foil are doing is saying the 'n' word without ever saying it. It's code language. I will end where I began- learn to read because what I just wrote was pretty clear from the post I wrote.

10:10 - please take you race baiting garbage somewhere else. No one here is doing any of the nasty things you alleged.

I find your use of the "n" word disgraceful and insulting.

Anonymous said...

Amen, 10:10.

7:10, 10:10

You're not black. A Troll perhaps, but not black. Black folk love to get on the internet and talk about "niggers?"

Nigguh, please.

I suspect it's roach troll's latest attempt at subterfuge. Now that Tom has finally talked about Anita, the roach idiot needs a new way to try to change the subject and divert attention from the focus of this blog.

Anonymous said...

It's seems many of you are stuck on the use of the n word. I am talking about how others view others. Not how I view us.

Re-reading the comment to which I responded it may not have been the best choice of things to use as an example, but I m feed up with race being used as excuse to explain how white people are being mistreated.

the fact is we are the common excuse used often here. go back to read the posts saying as much in other threads such as the previous one on the two tier labor market.

2:36 -this is not the forum for this garbage.

WHO IS ANITA

Anonymous said...

Anita is a bigshot project director that tom complained about. He did little work, she fired his ass, and then wrote an article about how to profitably manage temp attys. Tom didn't respond to her article after complaning about her for months in the past. Unusual, no?

Anonymous said...

Give it a rest roach boy. You are nothin' but a liar and a phony.

He finally talked about Anita, isn't that enough you pathetic, sniveling, dork.

Anonymous said...

That green witch looks like Anita exactly, that is what is so funny.

Anonymous said...

I'll get you my pretty and your little dog too!

Anonymous said...

I think 1:13 suffers from brain damage or has gone codal.

Anonymous said...

And what firm did Lloyd Constantine start anyway? Hmmmmm, I wonder...

Go figure, the guy up for SUNY chancellor backs the plan for more SUNY law schools, and lots of state money to go his way.

I love how he says that 50% of law school students don't work as lawyers. Well, that's probably because they can't find a job as a lawyer and have to take any other job to pay the enormous amount of student loan debt coming out of law school.

This guy seems to think a brand new school will be top tier and everything will be great for its graduates. A new school will probably be ranked 4th tier because there is no history, no alumni network, no track record of getting people jobs, no reputation, nothing. Who will employ the graduates from these new schools? Contract agencies.

I also love how he points out that NY has fallen behind in economic leadership, specifically research and technology, and that more investment in higher education will bring NY back to the top. Well, last time I checked lawyers don't perform research or design technology. At most they patent it technology.

Well done, Tom and kudos to all that assisted in bringing to light all of anita's patheticness.

Crawl back to your hole, bitch!
